Master bedroom

Guest Bedroom - there are 2 queen sized beds in here now

Loft-this is huge! It could sleep 20 people if needed. The carpet is UGLY, but no one's ever up there anyways.

Our Soloflex is up there now, as well as a desk on the empty long wall w/ a small tv on it. It helps break up the room.

I've done some random stamping/painting on the walls to make it more cheery. We call this room the ASYLUM.

The pic below shows why.

The ASYLUM

When we 1st looked at this place, this is what it was like. Very dark, kinda eery. There are 4 doors

that we had no idea where they went to...they were screwed shut. You can see one on the far end

of this picture, and another one on the above picture. We joked about having dead bodies in there.

When escrow closed, it was kinda freaky finally opening them because your mind does weird things, even

though we were just joking about it. But it's just attic space. The previous owner had kids so she probably

screwed the doors shut so they couldn't go in there. It's great storage space.

Anyhow, another story to add to the Asylum myth...at Thanksgiving last year, Vanessah, her boyfriend and

her dad were sleeping up here. During the middle of the night, Vanessah's dad felt like someone (thing?)

was pressing down on his chest. Since he was half asleep, he thought it was vanessah. He asked her what she

wanted but she didn't talk back, she just kept pushing harder and harder on his chest. He was having a hard time

breathing. He opened his eyes, Vanessah was asleep on the bottom bunk and no one was next to him, but

he still felt the pressure on his chest. He finally sat up and the pressure went away. He told us this story at breakfast

the next day. Personally, I think that Leo was making it all up...that's his sense of humor, especially since the night

before we had been joking around about the loft being the Asylum and the bodies in the attic and so on. He

loves to take a story and run with it.
