It was like a fairy tale, we woke up and there was a fresh blanket of snow on the ground. We were up at 5:45am, so we actually had to wait till there was enough light to go out and take these pictures. |
We were up even before any cars had traveled along the road |

Every year, the owners of this cabin in Mi Wuk/Sierra Park decorate their yard with a zillion lights. They start decorating in August and they actually open up their yard for the public to walk through. It's really amazing, they even pipe Christmas music though the 'snow garden'. Along with the 'gardens' they have a display of over 3000 Nutcrackers in a specially designed room with a large window to see them through. They do it just because they love it and love watching the smiles and the children's eyes light up whenever they walk though their yard. We went on New Years Eve after a wonderful dinner at La Morenita up in Coldsprings. |
