Disney5K
This year, instead of doing our annual girls trip to
Disney, Linda and Donna planned on running in Disney's Inaugural Half
Marathon. In addition the the half marathon, Disney was holding a Fun Run 5k the
day before. After much convincing on Linda's part, I signed up to run in my
first race ever. Quite intimidating for a couch potato and someone who
does.not.like.to.run. But I started training with Linda's help and by September,
I was able to wog (walk/jog) 5k. We ran (and by ran, i really mean wog) thru
Disneyland and California Adventures - 3.1 miles. It was hard but totally awesome and I'm so glad I did
