World Trade Center Site

A harrowing sight. Impossible to express in words.

World Financial Center. Where Eric worked.

A few more sights during my walk downtown.

After visiting the World Trade Center sight, I walked to Battery Park with the intention of taking a ferry to Liberty Island. Alas, the line for the ferry looked like it could be a 2-3 hour wait, so I decided against it and walked along the waters edge to take a few pictures from there. Serendipitously, there was a ferry with no line, that takes you on a 1 hour river tour for $10. I boarded the boat and it took me on this amazing excursion w/ incredible views. I didn't get to physically go on the island, but we rode right next to our Lady Liberty, by Ellis Island, under the Brooklyn Bridge, along Wall Street, all with spectacular views of Downtown Manhattan.
