Yet another famous site. The Waldorf Astoria.

The lobby of the Waldorf Astoria.

Tiffany's, on Fifth Avenue.

Trump Tower, on Fifth Avenue.

Random store photo. Actually, not really random. This store has been featured on TLC's 'What Not to Wear' several times. The clothes here are very reasonable!

On our way to Boston, we had to cross over the Tappen Zee Bridge from New Jersey into New York. These bridge workers were amazing to watch, like a ballet of sorts on steel.

Long story short, this was our window sill. And yes, we did open the screenless window wide open during a thunderstorm to hear the rain and lightning. No, we didn't know they were there when we opened it. Amazingly, none of them came into our room despite our unknowing pestering of them while we attempted to close the window unsuccessfully because a wasp nest was in the way.

Art on display in the Empire State Building. These were glass art pieces, backlit, displaying the 8 wonders of the world. They were about 8 feet x 5 feet, the colors were intensely dramatic and bold.

The Great Pyramids

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon

Statue of Zeus

Temple of Diana

Tomb of King Mausolus

Colossus of Rhodes

Lighthouse of Pharos

Empire State Building
