Towards the end of the Frieze, a gun crew prepares to fire a Naval gun during the battles of the Spanish-American War. The last panel portrays the Birth of Aviation with the flight at Kitty Hawk. An Eagle with an olive branch emphasizes the flight as a great American achievement and closes the last scene.
